Lew Siete Media (formerly Lew Siete Music) is an independent media and entertainment company founded and led by Derrick T. Lewis — built on legacy, driven by ownership, and designed for expansion.
Raised in a household shaped by the music industry — with his mother, Valerie (Scott) Lewis, a former R&B lead vocalist, and his father, Billy Lewis, a touring member of The Drifters — Derrick understood early that talent opens doors, but ownership builds legacy.
By high school, he was already writing original lyrics and refining his voice, preparing for more than participation — preparing for control. In 2014, he made a decisive move into the music industry, writing and releasing his debut single, Selfish Pride, in collaboration with producers Stefan Moessle and Aswad Samad. That release marked more than a musical debut — it marked the birth of Lew Siete Music.
As his vision expanded, so did the company.
Lew Siete Music evolved into Lew Siete Media, a diversified platform focused on content creation, brand development, and cultural commentary. The company produces The D-Lew Podcast, a weekly show on the BLEAV Network, where Derrick delivers unfiltered insight on entertainment, culture, creative entrepreneurship, and professional wrestling — bridging industry experience with authentic fan perspective.
Lew Siete Media represents more than a label or podcast platform. It is a strategic move toward vertical ownership in entertainment — controlling narrative, distribution, and brand identity under one umbrella.
